Welcome to the Cancer Resources Asset Map
Why We Created It?
TLCI is not a direct service agency but continues to receive requests for help from Latinos across the country and elsewhere experiencing a cancer diagnosis.
No patient or family should feel alone!
These requests inspired us to identify these critical resources by virtually scouring every state that might provide Latino cancer services. Just as importantly we looked for those where Spanish language support, materials and navigation might be available. Those agencies are marked by a red * if they do
Using the Map
This cancer resource asset map, available in English and espanol, can be used not only by patients and families, but by
- community health workers/aka promotores working in agencies, clinics and public health care systems
- community-based organizations
- social workers in clinics and public health care systems
- navigators in comprehensive cancer centers. In fact, we called on these experts to test the map. They gave us great feedback to help make the map better. Just click on the circle to reveal the agency and its services. Look at the teal, dark blue and gray circles which indicate if it is a local, state or national organization.
Be On the Map
The map is always a work in process. Who or what have we missed? Feel free to recommend an agency, a hidden gem in the far corner of a state that is a life saver for Latino residents, immigrants, farmworkers facing a health challenge.
Download a PDF application and send it to the agency.
